HEATING UP – AND SO IS DANCE!

Summer is
approaching, but the Tucson dance scene has not closed down just yet. PCC
Dance presents its spring concert "4 Elements." Just as the title suggests,
dancers explore water, air, fire and metal through both movement and visual
art.
Under the
direction of Aurora Goncalves-Shaner, ballet, modern, jazz and ballroom dance
illustrates and defines the principles of each element.
Set in
front of over-sized paintings by Goncalves-Shaner’s mother - a visual artist
based in Brazil - PCC students and faculty collaborate with guest artists from
the University of Arizona to bring the four elements to life.
