DESIGNERS HELP BALLET TUCSON
Meet and talk with five different interior designers in their own homes about their own design strategies, and at the same time give a boost to the artists who are Ballet Tucson.
That’s the objective in the first ever “Where Designers Dwell” Home Tour presented by the American Society of Interior Designers Arizona South and Tucson Home Magazine, set for Saturday, Sept. 12. Proceeds from the day-long self-guided tour will go to Ballet Arizona to help continue their programs and classes. The design group wants to emphasize how ballet brings the principles of design to life through dance.
The tour hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with five ASID member homes open to receive all guests. Each home has been remodeled in the designer’s distinct style. Each designer will be on hand in their homes to answer questions and discuss their projects. All five homes are on the north side of Tucson.
Self-guided tour tickets are $25 in advance, $30 the day of the tour. For details, 520-547-5516, or www.asidtucson.org
